He’s run well in two competitive handicaps recently, coming back to form on a soft surface when third to I’m A Gambler at Goodwood and then a close fifth to the same rival in the Sovereign Path Handicap at Leopardstown last time. That run can be marked up as he was badly hampered early on in the contest just after he’d got track position.
Placed over this C&D at Royal Ascot earlier in the year, he looks a good each-way bet today.
